Both Telluride and Mountain Village offer plenty of lodging options. Most of the larger resorts and hotels are in Mountain Village, which is also closer to dinner at Communion Wine Bar. Downtown Telluride has plenty of accommodations as well, particularly condos, private homes, and vacation rentals.
The free gondola connects the two towns in about 12 minutes and runs from 6:30 a.m. to midnight, making either location a convenient place to stay.

Traveling with a group or planning a longer stay? A condo or vacation rental may suit you better than individual hotel rooms, with more space, a kitchen, and a shared place to gather.
Many condos and vacation homes are listed on Airbnb or Vrbo. Look for places within an easy walk of the gondola or with convenient shuttle access, and check minimum-night requirements before booking.
